We got our new front sign put up! It's ten feet wide and visible from space! (Not really but you can definitely see it from the street.) Stop by and check it out in person!

Good news, everyone: starting this week we'll be open on Fridays! This is expands our open hours six days a week: Monday (11-3PM), Tuesday-Friday (5:30-9PM), and Saturday (3-9PM).Â

We're continuing to expand into our new home with more storage, more workspace, and more printers! (We may even have a couple more on the way.) Come take a tour, work on a project, or sign up for one of our upcoming classes. Or just come hang out!

Good news, everyone: we're reopening! We'll resume our normal shop hours at 5:30 PM next Tuesday, 2/4, at our new location: 1855 Bellingham Rd Suite J in Troy. We'll also be listing classes soon and restarting our regular events, so keep an eye out for those!
There's still lots of organization work to do at the shop, and a few tools that aren't ready to be used yet, so please be patient with us while things are a little disorganized - but we're very excited to welcome folks to our new home!

We've been quiet the past few weeks, but we've been anything but idle!
Over the holidays, we moved our entire shop to our new location in Troy. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped; it was truly a community effort! Since then, we've been unpacking and setting back up. We've got some furnishings to build or buy and lots of organizing and settling in to do, but things are shaping up nicely. We'll share pictures as soon as we can!
Our certificate of occupancy inspections are tomorrow; if everything goes well, we should be approved to reopen soon. Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement - and as always, thank you for your support through this transition.

We've got big news... we're MOVING!
In a few weeks, we're packing up our workshop and moving 15 minutes south to a bigger and better space! Our new address will be 1855 Bellingham Dr. in Troy, where we'll have a 3,000 square foot handicap-accessible unit. Our long-term plan is to fundraise for some modifications to make the space an even better fit for us, but even with the current floor plan we'll be in a great position to support the metro Detroit community for years to come with a high-quality, accessible makerspace.
We'll be closed to the public until mid-January to get moved and set up, then we'll resume our class offerings and open shop hours - potentially with some schedule tweaks. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, Discord server, or email newsletter for updates!
